Calling all Middle School (and fifth grade) Mathematicians
Please join us for this year’s tenth annual Latin School Invitational Math Contest, "Math Will Shine in 2009,” on Saturday, January 31st, 2009. The event is open to fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students from public, independent, and parochial schools from throughout the Chicago area and southern Wisconsin. Students compete as part of their school team and spend the morning working on fun-filled math problems. Snacks and lunch will be provided. Last year, more than 250 young math enthusiasts turned out for the competition and fun was had by all.
